In addition to the earnback, which awards half of the entry fee to finishers who "show up" on 24 of the 28 days, some events may have additional prizes.
Did you say prizes?
Yes! From time to time we work with sponsors to give participants a bonus. Think of it like the goodie bag you get when you pick up your bib before a road race. In addition, finishers may also qualify to get a larger prize donated by our sponsors, usually one prize per finisher (finishers will get to choose one from the selection). We apologize if your game has no extra prizes … some events have goodie bags and finisher prizes while others don’t. That’s why we call them surprizes.
Do I have to give sponsors my information?
In games that are sponsored there will be a clear consent up front about sharing information with sponsors. In order to send out prizes sponsors need a way to contact you, so if there are sponsors in your event we’ll tell you at signup which sponsors, and what information they require. This is separate from earnbacks for completing the challenge successfully and getting back half your investment.
