In addition to the support you receive during your event, participants who show up and complete 24 of the 28 days may be eligible for a prize. Think of it like the goodie bag you get when you pick up your bib before a road race.
How do the prizes work?
Show up on 24 of the 28 days and you're eligible for your host's prizes. Each host chooses her own, and you'll find the list in the app. Once an event wraps up, prize distribution will begin. Check your specific event for prize and redemption details as it will vary for each event.
What if I show up for 23 days?
You won't be eligible for the prizes. Four flex days is our cushion to make 24 reachable. It's totally doable if you put your mind to it, and it's your responsibility to keep an eye on your status (you can monitor your progress in the app). To make it fair for everyone, 24 is a hard line.
How does the practice week work?
The free practice week is a chance to get a feel for the challenge. Only the 28 days of the challenge count toward your 24 - so activities completed during the practice week will not be applied towards your 24 days.
My event referenced "Earnback". What is that?
Events that started prior to October 2026 offered "Earnback" to participants. Participants who showed up for 24 of the 28 days would 'earnback' half of their original commitment. If you qualify for an earnback, Points will show up within a few days of the event ending. Then, you can request a payout via PayPal or keep your Points in your balance and roll them over into your next game or accountability group. Note you will need a PayPal account, which is free, as well as the WayBetter app and a WayBetter account, also free (no subscription is required). And please note that if Points balances sit untouched for a year they will expire … we encourage you to use your Points for other events, or cash them out and reward yourself with something fun.
