GLP Won is a 4-week challenge to help you stay on track with your GLP-1 medication, with the support of a community and a host who’s been there.
A quick note: this describes the typical GLP Won setup. We may try different formats over time — longer or shorter games, no warmup week, games without sponsors, bets higher or lower than $30 — so check your specific game’s details for anything that might differ.
How check-ins work to prove that you’re taking your medication
GLP Won has two paths depending on your medication:
- Weekly injection: Submit one video per week showing yourself and your medication.
- Daily pill: Submit a video each day showing yourself taking your pill (normally 6 of 7 days a week are required — you get one skip day).
A few things that apply to everyone:
- Videos must be recorded in the WayBetter app — no uploads from your camera roll. This keeps the game fair (otherwise someone could re-submit last week’s video).
- Submit before midnight in your time zone to count for that day.
- Videos are posted in the game feed by default so other players can cheer you on. Prefer to keep yours private? No problem. You can switch to private in the app — those videos are only visible to you and our referees.
- You can see other players’ videos in the feed and offer encouragement (unless they’ve set theirs to private).
Game basics
- Week 1 is a warmup. Nobody gets eliminated. Use it to get the hang of the app with nothing at stake.
- Weeks 2–4 count towards your game progress. Stay on track and you win.
- $30 to play. Win the game and you get your $30 back plus a small profit (split evenly among winners, funded by players who didn’t finish).
- Changed your mind? Email support@waybetter.app by the end of day 3 for a full refund.
Prizes
Win the game and you’ll get to choose a Prize from one of our game sponsors — things like gift cards, free subscriptions, and product samples from brands serving the GLP-1 community. We vet every sponsor so the Prizes are things you’d actually want.
Here’s the timeline:
- Game ends. Our referees take a few days to confirm the final results.
- Prize-chooser email goes out the following week. You’ll have 48 hours to fill out a short form choosing your Prize from the sponsor lineup. You have to choose just one Prize from among the offerings from the game’s sponsors.
- The sponsor takes it from there. Most Prizes arrive within a couple of weeks, though the exact timing is up to each sponsor.
Sponsors and Prizes vary game to game, and Prizes are available while supplies last. Think of these as a bonus on top of getting your $30 back. (See "About eligibility" below for the kinds of things that can affect whether a specific Prize is or isn’t available to you.)
Perks
Perks are little extras that sponsors offer to everyone in the game — things like discount codes, free trials, and special offers. Unlike Prizes (which winners choose), Perks go out to all players. When they’re available, we’ll send them by email.
Like Prizes, Perks vary game to game and depend on what each sponsor offers, so we don’t promise specifics. They’re a nice little extra when they show up.
About Prize and Perk eligibility
Prizes and Perks come from sponsors, and each sponsor sets their own rules. A few things that can affect whether you’re eligible for a specific one:
- You’re already a customer of that sponsor (some offers are for new customers only).
- You’ve recently played in another sponsored game (sponsors want their Prizes and Perks reaching new players each time).
- Geographic limits (some offers are US-only, for example).
- Age-based limits (some require players to be 18+).
- Supplies run out (it happens — popular Prizes go fast).
- A sponsor doesn’t deliver on their end (rare, but out of our hands when it does).
We mention this not to scare you off but to set honest expectations: Prizes and Perks are real and we work hard to negotiate for them on your behalf, but they’re bonuses on top of winning your game and earning your money back, not guarantees.

About our rules
We want GLP Won to be fair with real integrity. That means we hold the line on a few things:
- Missed a check-in by a few minutes after midnight? Sorry, it doesn’t count. The cutoff has to mean something or it stops being a fair game for the players who hit it.
- Meds on backorder, travel plans, life happening? We get it — stuff comes up. But if you can already see an obstacle that might keep you from finishing, it’s probably worth sitting this one out and joining a later game. Once a game starts, the rules apply evenly to everyone.
- Need to change your shot day mid-game for a medical reason? Email support@waybetter.app and we’ll work it out.
- Missed the 48-hour Prize selection window because you were traveling or didn’t see the email? Reach out — we’re a flexible company and we’ll do what we can. After too long, though, sponsors have moved on and we won’t be able to help.
We’re fair people running a fair game, and our sponsors are the same. We’ll always try to help if you have a real problem. But the rules exist so that everyone who plays gets treated fairly.
