We understand that some goals are strictly personal, so who views your submissions is up to you. When you submit an activity photo or video, you’ll see 3 main options for visibility:
Select Anyone to add your submission to the global inspiration feed. This means all WayBetter members will see your photo or video and written response.
Select Game to share your progress with other players in your game’s main feed. Your submission will not be added to the global inspiration feed.
Select Submission to share your photo in your game’s submissions area, but not the game’s general feed.
If you want to keep your submissions only between you and the refs, you can change your privacy preferences under Settings.
Each time you submit for a game, you can double-check your settings after uploading your photo and before tapping “Submit.” Immediately under your prompt for the day, a dropdown box will display the same three privacy options. Make sure your selection is highlighted and you’re good to go!
Additional privacy settings for stats and GLP-1 Experience players
In the summer of 2024, WayBetter launched an innovative new play option for players with GLP-1 usage or interest.
This participation option on WayBetter has the option of sharing your progress photos with other GLP-1 users and charting your progress publicly with other players on the same journey.
If you prefer to keep your stats private in this experience or on WayBetter’s classic version, visit your main profile page by tapping on the head/shoulder icon in the lower right-hand corner. On the menu, tap “profile.”
Underneath your profile photo and name, tap the “Edit” icon. From here, you can choose between public or private visibility for your headline, pounds lost, and progress photos. You can also opt out of the GLP-1 Experience and experience classic WayBetter using the toggle switch at the bottom of the page.
Tap “Save,” and your settings should be live. You can make adjustments at any time.
Please Note: Weigh-ins are not publicly shared. Our Refs may verify that you completed your submission, but your weigh-in details will not be shared in the game feed.
